What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received came from my mentor and CEO at Forbes Fabrics. He saw something in me early on and pushed me to lead with confidence, trust my eye, and take risks others might shy away from. His belief in my vision is what inspired me to spearhead a new arm of the company—a move that completely shifted the direction of my career. That advice taught me not just to follow opportunity, but to create it.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges—and simultaneously one of the most exciting opportunities—right now is spearheading corporate apparel within a larger fashion brand like Forbes Fabrics. This emerging market means creating entirely new product categories, establishing supply-chain relationships, and solving complex design and fit challenges at scale. The opportunity lies in defining and leading this new corporate apparel arm, bringing together creativity, brand identity, and executive collaboration. The challenge is balancing innovation with consistency, ensuring each line meets both performance and brand standards. For me, stepping into this role means forging new territory and defining what success looks like, one custom print and uniform package at a time.
